Receptionist
ASAP Ministries is Hiring! We are looking for a committed Seventh-day Adventist who prays and trusts in the Lord and has a passion for missions.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to connect and work well with others, but who also pays attention to details. This position will answer phones, talk with donors, and perform data entry for the Finance Department. Here is a link to the detailed job description. Cashier
Expectations:
-
Reports to the Assistant Director, their immediate supervisor.
-
Works at least 27 hours weekly (Tuesday through Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm).
Qualifications & Skills:
-
High School diploma
-
Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role would be preferred
-
Familiarity with electronic equipment e.g., cash register & credit card machine
-
Strong communication and time management skills
-
Customer satisfaction oriented
-
Good math skills
-
Should be motivated, energetic, and professional
Responsibilities:
-
Greet customers politely
-
Manage customer complaints, sharing relevant information
-
Check out goods and ensure that items are accurately priced
-
Collect payments, whether in cash or credit
-
Issue receipts and handle in-store credit for selected returns
-
Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
-
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
-
Bag, box, or wrap purchased items
-
Handle merchandise returns for in-store credit
-
Be able to lift items over 25lbs.

Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Preparing children ages 4-5 for kindergarten.
The Pre-K teacher must have a great love and patience for children. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices and Pre-Kindergarten educational methods, as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can thrive in their next level of education and have a lifelong love of learning. Must meet LARA requirements for lead caregiver.

Work Hours: 8:00-11:30 / 12:30-5:00 M-Th & 8:00 - 11:30 / 12:30-3:00 F
